Depending on the weather and the light, the Danube can look dramatically different; these days it’s mostly grey but I got the chance to catch a nice green Danube last week. Compare it with this Blue Danube a couple of days later!
We walked around the city and took a few pictures.
Working for Automattic is pretty great. Not only is the work fun and challenging, I also get to travel quite a bit. In the past few years, I’ve discovered San Francisco, Pune, Kauai, Dublin, and many other interesting places.
This month I added two more cities to my list: Madrid, Spain, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. I didn’t take many pictures in Madrid, but I know my colleague Donncha will keep adding more pictures from our trip to his photo blog in the next few months. 😊
I did, however, take a few pictures in Albuquerque.
Walking the dog, blowing bubbles;
visiting a local aquarium, where we could discover sharks through an observation tunnel and even touch rays.
This weekend was good. And since my wife is a great photographer, I have great shots to remember all of this! :)
Batteries are now recharged. I’m ready to go back to questions about Stats. ?
When Android 4.2 was released, one of my favorite features was the new Camera app and its Photo Sphere option. It allowed you to take 360-degree panorama pictures, and you could then use the photo editor to create a “tiny planet” from this panorama. I actually published a few here on my blog:
When Android 5.0 (Lollipop) was released, it appeared that the option was gone from the editor. You could still create Photo spheres, but I couldn’t find a way to create the Tiny Planets. Lucky for me, I finally found the option back!
If, like me, you can’t locate the option anymore and would love to create your own little worlds again, without having to use a third-party app, follow the steps below.
Working from home is great. It can get lonely at times though, especially when the rest of your team lives 6 timezones away. It makes it a bit more difficult to get to know each other, coordinate, and work efficiently as a team. Luckily for me, I work for Automattic and get to meet my teammates in person a few times a year!

This morning at 10:42 AM, Lili joined our small family! 3.9kg and 57cm of happiness! Adri is fine, and we’re all relaxing before to go home in a few days.
Ce matin, à 10h42, Lili a finalement pointé le bout de son nez! 3.9kg et 57 cm de pur bonheur ! Adri va bien, et on se repose maintenant un petit peu avant de rentrer à la maison dans quelques jours.
