Happiness Bubble

6AM. A thick fog surrounds us. Luckily  the sun will rise soon.

It’s been a long night. We started 7 hours ago, and we still have 2 hours to go before we can stop and relax a bit. Snacks and redbulls aren’t enough to keep me awake now, so I turn up the volume a bit, hoping that the music will keep me awake for the rest of the trip.

Quick look in the rearview mirror: I can see the top of Lili’s little head, moving in rythym. She seems to like the music. She even starts singing along! My wife laughs and joins her. Watson, who was sleeping on the passenger seat next to me, looks up, wondering if everything is OK. And quickly goes back to his nap. I guess he was happy with the current situation. I couldn’t agree with him more. We’re together, we’re happy. We’re like a small bubble of happiness, blazing through the fog.
