I’m a Marvel fan. I read Strange as a kid, I’ve watched all the MCU movies, the Marvel shows on ABC (Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and all the Marvel shows on Netflix. Even before Iron Fist’s release date was announced, I knew I’d be watching it as soon as it came out.
It’s been out for a few months now; I think spoilers are fine now so it’s time for a quick review! If you haven’t watched it yet be warned: spoilers ahead!
The Good Wife was one of my favourite TV shows. I liked the characters, the “case of the week”, the backstory, the little touches of humour here and there. When CBS announced that they were launching a spinoff, I was obviously very curious. As it turns out, they did a pretty good job with The Good Fight.
After Continuum, here is another Canadian show about time travel. And it’s available on Netflix!
This is another interesting twist on time travel, and they’ve managed to make me interested in all 5 main characters. That doesn’t happen very often! I found myself liking all of them, and really fearing that one of them would just be a victim of the storyline.
If you’re looking for something to binge watch, and if you like Science fiction, consider Travelers: you’ll go through the 12 episodes and ask for me, I guarantee it!
TV has changed a lot over the past 15 years. Shows are different, how we watch TV is different. 15 years ago, bingeing wasn’t a thing; very few shows had a real storyline, and the budget of prime time TV shows in general was quite low. There was HBO of course, but series like The Wire were the exception, not the norm. And then things changed. A few shows are directly responsible for making serialized TV series a thing. I think my generation will always remember Lost and 24, 2 of the first big shows that introduced us to good storytelling on TV. I personally became addicted to TV with 2 other shows: Heroes and Prison Break. I got hooked to TV with those 2 shows. And now, after 7 years, Prison Break is back!
I watch TV. A lot. Fall is a always a nice time of the year for TV addicts like me because we get to discover new TV shows! Here is what we’re watching this Fall.
I watch a lot of TV shows; 113 days worth of it, according to Trakt.tv. But I’ve never told you about Band of Brothers before. Let’s fix that today!
Have you watched The Americans? Somehow this series stayed under my radar in the past 3 years. I guess there are just too many good shows on TV these days, and not just on major networks anymore.
If you haven’t started watching it yet, I’d recommend watching it soon; you’ll love it.
Did you like Marvel’s Daredevil, season 1 and 2? You probably watched Jessica Jones as well, where we got to know Luke Cage and discovered that all 3 characters lived in the same city and would maybe make a good team.

A new hero joins the team! I’m so waiting for that one. It has a nice mystical feeling to it, a la Doctor Strange. And, you know, Kung Fu! :)

To this day, Breaking Bad still is one of my favourite TV Shows. The story, the photography, the characters, the soundtrack, … That show brought TV Shows to a new level. I was thrilled when I learned that one of the characters, Saul Goodman, would get his own show, created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, who also worked on Breaking Bad.
I’m a big Stephen King fan, and although I don’t usually enjoy James Franco I’m really looking forward to this new show! It’s only 9 episodes, so they won’t be tempted to go off book and the end result shouldn’t be as bad as Under The Dome.
